Luxury Living Spotlight on Missoni Baia

Missoni Baia is one of the latest luxury condo buildings to paint Miami’s growing skyline. It is located on 200 feet of Biscayne Bay’s gorgeous coastline in East Edgewater. Residents of the 57-story, condo tower will be able to enjoy Miami’s postcard views of both Biscayne Bay and Miami’s skyline.
 
Missoni Baia is the product of OKO Group and “the fashion house of Missoni” and is designed by Asymptote Architecture. The New York-based architect firm is no stranger to designing Miami buildings, such as Miami Media Tower.  The interior designer is Paris Forino and the landscape architecture firm is Enzo Enea.

The 146-unit luxury condo tower will range from 2,500 to 3,700 square feet, with two to four bedrooms.  The cost per square foot is about $900 which priced to a starting cost of $2.25 million. Hopes of completion are slated for 2019.
 
Developed by OKO Group, the Russian billionaire Vladislav Doronin, has purchased about a billion dollars in land, and Missoni Baia is just one of three projects planned. Amidst a time where the developmental projects have slowed, according to a report from Miami Downtown Development Association. However, Doronin is optimistic about the project. In 2014, Forbes named Doronin one of the “Kings of Russian Real Estate.” He has developed more than 70 projects, which includes the OKO Tower in central Moscow, which is Europe’s “tallest completed skyscraper.”
