Downtown Miami projected to be the fourth-fastest-growing neighborhood in America over the next five years
Over the next five years, our very own Downtown Miami is projected to be the fourth-fastest growing-neighborhood in America. Rounding out the top 3 fastest growing neighborhoods are Power Ranch, Gilbert, AZ; Historic Cultural Center, Los Angeles, CA; and Downtown, Dallas, TX.
Why Downtown Miami?
Although Downtown Miami has not always been considered an ideal place to live, one of its newest projects, Miami World Center, has brought around “tens of thousands of new residents.” It’s a trend that’s on fire. In Downtown Miami, mainly in the Brickell area, luxurious condo developments are hot and holding the term “luxury” to a higher standard. Projects like Aria on the Bay, the Brickell Flatiron, and Brickell City Centre, are bringing both attention and new residents to the area.
The attraction to Downtown Miami is due to its nightlife, shopping, culture, dining, and the convenience of walking to and from work. It also has its own Metro Move with various stops throughout the Downtown Miami area. Additionally, just a short distance from the beautiful white-sand beaches, a 20- minute drive to Miami International Airport, luxurious condo-living, and breathtaking skylines, it’s no wonder why Downtown Miami ranked the fourth-fastest growing neighborhood in America.
How does the rest of Miami fare in the growth statistics?
According to a report from realtor.com, Miami-Dade housing and jobs are expected to continue to grow. The report’s findings were depicted from measurements that included the creation of jobs, new construction, and household information. These variables indicated a “balanced growth.”
When compared to the top 100 counties in America that have the highest populations, Miami-Dade County is expected to grow by 3 percent. That leads to a whopping 13,000 new housing and a mere 44,000 new jobs anticipated.
And it’s no wonder the Miami is so popular. The Magic City has a rich historical culture, language diversity, a multitude of cultures, a booming art scene, celebrities and the gorgeous scenic backgrounds of beaches, skylines, and glorious trees making it a desirable place to live.
