Pinecrest residents and guests take note: From now through Friday, February 5, there will be significant construction along Ludlam Avenue (SW 67th Avenue) from Kendall Drive (88th Street) to SW 90th Street. According to the Village of Pinecrest’s Facebook page, the construction will take place between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm and between 8:00 pm and 5:00 am. Although this isn’t a Pinecrest project, the Village has stated that motorists should expect delays from lane shifts, lane closures, and detours.
Here are more details on what you can expect according to the Facebook post:
“It is expected that a northbound lane closure will occur approximately on February 1st for a four day period along Southwest 67th Avenue approximately 350 feet south of the Kendall Drive intersection. This northbound lane closure will require a traffic diversion/detour from northbound Southwest 67th Avenue to eastbound Southwest 92nd Street and then northbound on Southwest 63rd Court to the intersection of Southwest 63rd Court and Kendall Drive.”
The construction along Ludlam Avenue in Pinecrest is attributed to the Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department. The department is requiring a private developer to install a sewer main.
